So, How do I go about downloading and playing games from my library on the new gaming pc? I figured that the process would work a lot smoother when both the PC and Mac are both plugged into a router, but I thought I would still be able to use the new PC in the meantime. I finally gave up, and when I plugged the internet cable back into the Mac, everything, including my library of games, came up with no problem, and no message saying once again that I was logging in from a new computer and needed to enter a code. I thought that I would have to install the Steam client for the new computer to run programs thru Steam, but when I clicked on “Install Steam” nothing happened. Steam recognized me, and I could pull up my profile, wish list, friends list, etc., but It didn’t show my Steam library. I did that, and the Steam page popped up and I logged in. As expected, when I went to the Steam page, it said “Oh, you’re logging in from a new computer” and told me I would have to enter a code sent to my e-mail account for security purposes. Once installed, you can simply fire up your command line and use the OpenSSH client by typing ssh followed by the command such as ssh ubuntusomeIP. So, I finally picked up a Gaming PC to go along with my Mac, and I wanted to try it out on Steam today.
